What is a "Born Again" Believer?
In John 3, Jesus tells Nicodemus, “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” — and that this new birth comes by water and the Spirit. A member is one who believes Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father, upholds the whole Bible as the standard for truth, and seeks to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. What is Water Baptism?
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” — Matthew 28:19. We believe it is essential for all new believers to be baptized after receiving salvation and the gift of the Holy Ghost.
