How We Treat Our Fellow Man Really Matters to Jesus
(Based on Matt. 25: 31- 46 The Separation of the Sheep and the Goats)
This important passage of Scriptures gives us an idea about how Jesus will determine which people will be able to enter into the Millennium following the Tribulation. The Separation of the Sheep and the Goats Judgment is not the Great White Throne Judgement, which will take place at the end of the Millennium. It does not represent the church, which will have been raptured before the beginning of the Tribulation. It is a Judgment of the Gentiles who survived the Tribulation and whose outcome will be based upon how they treated the Jews during the Tribulation. If they supported the Jews, they will be placed on the right hand of Jesus and will enter into the Millennium. However, if they did not help them, feed them or support them they will be placed on the left hand of Christ and will be thrown into outer darkness or Hell. “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Matt. 25:46.
This judgment presents a Kingdom lesson for us today. Jesus cares about how we treat our fellow men, even those who are not saved. He wants us to love, help and support our fellow men as we go through the trials and tribulations that life on earth brings. The Lord wants his people to be concerned about those who are less fortunate than we are. The love that we demonstrate to the lost could very well be the impetus that draws them to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Father, we thank you for this opportunity to show your love through our deeds of giving. We ask that you bless and multiply our efforts and meet the needs of many. And, as a result of our giving we pray that many souls will be won for the Kingdom of God. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, AMEN.
