OUR STORY
Rooted in Faith. Building a Legacy.
From a renovated barbecue café in South Dallas to a thriving family of faith — discover the people and the promise behind Full Gospel Holy Temple.
SINCE 1961
We've Come This Far By Faith
Full Gospel Holy Temple was founded in June 1961 with only six members in a renovated barbecue café on Second Avenue in South Dallas. Under the leadership of our late Founder, Apostle Lobias Murray, the ministry grew — through five relocations and more than six decades — into a congregation of thousands with fellowship churches across seven states. Today the mantle continues with Apostle Herman L. Murray, Jr., our Presiding Bishop and General Overseer.
