Awesomely anointed by God and appointed for such a time as this, Bishop Herman Murray, Jr. is committed to the cause of Christ and dedicated to winning souls to the kingdom of God. He has been divinely commissioned to serve as a help to his pastor, Dr. Apostle Lobias Murray, and is an associate minister of the Full Gospel Holy Temple Church of Dallas, Texas.
Called to preach the gospel at the young age of 16 years old, Bishop Murray is rich in wisdom, seasoned in the gospel and guided by the Holy Ghost. Known for his passionate, explosive and fiery delivery of God’s Word, his most requested messages include "Somebody Ought to Say Something", "I’ll Take the Roof Off", "I’m Not Going Out Like This", and "In Love With The City?". Bishop Murray seeks the face of God and totally yields himself as a vessel of God every time he stands before God’s people.
As a minister of the gospel, Bishop Murray believes that it’s about seeing hearts touched, lives transformed, and most importantly-souls added to the body of Christ. His message is for all people, both the young and young at heart. Bishop Murray often says, “God is no respecter of persons. He’s only looking for a willing vessel. He can use the young just as well as the old.
Bishop Murray can often be seen sharing the gospel on the Full Gospel Holy Temple Church Broadcast of Deliverance on the Daystar Television network on Sundays from 2-3pm CST. Additionally, his ministry has sent him across the continental U.S., Canada, Jamaica, and the Bahamas. He is the President of the Soul Harvest International Evangelistic Association, an outreach movement of the FGHT ministry whose goal is to go out into the highways and hedges and compel souls to come to Christ.
Bishop Murray is a 1995 graduate of the Lobias Murray Christian Academy and was a charter member of the Texas Youth Commission. He attends Southern Methodist University as a Theology major and has served as a hearing reporter of the Office of Hearing and Appeals for the Social Security Administration.
Often described as explosive and ambitious,
yet humble, Bishop Murray walks in the divine favor of
God. He is a native of Dallas, Texas. The husband of
Mrs. Daniele Barrett Murray and the son of the late
Bishop Herman Murray Sr. and Mrs. Jeanette Murray -Williams.
His mentors, grandparents and friends are Apostle and
Evangelist Shirley Murray.
